WWE Power Rankings Top 25 Superstars This Week #175

Posted by Wes Keefer Friday, December 22, 2017
Welcome to another edition of Power Rankings from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

25. Dean Ambrose

This is the first week since their reunion that The Shield is being ranked individually, but not for anything positive. Ambrose's team lost in a six-man tag match and he is also out several months with a much-needed surgery.

24. Daniel Bryan

Bryan is in dangerous territory with trying to keep on good terms with Owens and Zayn.

23. Women of WWE

The entire women's division gets some limelight here for the huge announcement of the first all-women Royal Rumble. However, WWE dropped the ball with the announcement itself. In the middle of a battle between bitter rivals, they were all celebrating and putting their differences aside in a mere second. Kayfabe is truly dead.

22. Riott Squad

The trio's in-ring skills are admirable, but they have suffered their first loss as a unit.

21. Seth Rollins

Rollins lost a vital match with rivals and lost his partner for months to injury.

20. Finn Balor

Balor played a part in bringing a friend up to the main roster when he partnered with Hideo Itami for his main roster debut and first victory.

19. Asuka

Asuka continues to get countless and pointless squash wins over Alicia Fox and it is doing nothing for her.

18. Hideo Itami

On his way to 205 Live, Itami first needed to debut on Raw and get a victory for momentum.

17.  Kane

Kane is a contender for the Universal Championship, but he is ranked so lowly because he is becoming a third wheel between Lesnar and Braun and will be the one to suffer the pin in the match.

16. Pete Dunn

On NXT, Dunn retained his title against Tyler Bate in a classic that stole the show.

15. Lars Sullivan

After winning over Roderick Strong, Lars rounds out the four men to fight to be the new contender for the NXT Championship. The match is sure to be a brawl.

14. The Usos

The current champions may have their days numbered as they now have three very valuable contenders who are all threats now.

13. Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura

Orton and Nakamura were finally successful over Owens and Zayn, with the help from the WWE Champion.

12. Charlotte Flair and Naomi

The Queen and her partner were able to get some revenge on the heel stable in tag team action.

11. Cedric Alexander

In his match with Gulak for the right at Amore's title, Alexander was successful and as a bonus, defeated Gulak again on 205.

10. The Revival

The Revival returned to action to a big pop from the crowd and have become instant threats to the stale tag team title picture.

9. Rusev and English

Rusev is becoming a hot commodity for SmackDown and could help English capture the tag team titles and get a hot push.

8. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler stunned WWE when he relinquished his title just days after winning it. He looks to be starting to split from WWE.

7. The New Day

After being upset the week before, The New Day regained some power with a win over Rusev and English.

6. Gable and Benjamin

Gable and Benjamin score another major win over The Usos and seem poised to finally claim the titles at their next shot.

5. The Bar and Samoa Joe

The three heels scored a win over The Shield and Jason Jordan. With Ambrose injured and out of commission, it is an even bigger victory.

4. Undisputed ERA

Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly captured their first tag team titles over SaNiTY and it could be just the beginning for the faction.

3. Brock Lesnar

The Beast returned to Raw and was faced with two heavy-hitting contenders to his title at Royal Rumble. He even landed a F-5 to Kane, which didn't seem to affect him.

2. Braun Strowman

The Monster Among Men was faced with the champion that he will battle at Royal Rumble. To his disadvantage, Kane is still a thorn in his side.

1. AJ Styles

Styles helped his allies take down Owens and Zayn, as well as getting the better of his longtime rival Jinder Mahal. He will try to look past Mahal and move on.
