WWE Power Rankings Top 25 Superstars This Week #174

Posted by Wes Keefer Saturday, December 16, 2017
Welcome to another edition of Power Rankings from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

25. Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt is continuing his video tirades traded with Matt Hardy, but this week was more of a laugh track.

24. Daniel Bryan

Bryan inserted himself as a second referee at Clash of Champions and we got an early taste when he took over officiating the main event on SmackDown Live.

23. Matt Hardy

Hardy has been fully "Woken", but hopefully next week we get to see more than just him laughing.

22. Asuka

The dominating Asuka was finally taken down by Absolution, but now has the rest of the roster behind her.

21. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler got a taste of his own medicine when Roode interrupted his match with Corbin and laid him out.

20. Authors of Pain

The tag team returned for a big night on NXT since their last match at WarGames. They picked up where they left off in a very dominating win.

19. Finn Balor

Sure he got air time in a match that in won despite fighting two men, but Balor is not moving up the rankings any time soon.

18. Baron Corbin

Corbin had his match with Ziggler stopped with Roode stepped in and dropped both men ahead of Sunday.

17.  Naomi

The Glow has returned to SmackDown Live when Naomi stormed the ring to help fend off the Riott Squad.

16. Bobby Roode

Going into Sunday, Roode gained some last minute momentum when he took out his competition for the US title.

15. AJ Styles

Ahead of his title defense with Mahal, AJ meet with him face to face one last time and took out his minions.

14. Andrade "Cien" Almas

The new NXT Champion proved that he can handle the pressure in the opening match on NXT on USA.

13. The Bar

Sheamus lost to Rollins and Cesaro put up quite the fight in a loss against Reigns for his title, but at least they have a dangerous man in Samoa Joe on their side.

12. Kane

With so much hype on their main event match, it was a disappointment. The match ended via double count-out and Kane was left lying in a heap to end the show.

11. Cedric Alexander

Due to recent events involving Rich Swann's suspension, Cedric Alexander won an impromptu Fatal 4-way to be his replacement in the Number One Contender match.

10. The Bludgeon Brothers

Another dominant showing has the Bludgeon Brothers knocking on the door of a title match once they face a quality team.

9. Charlotte Flair

Flair was able to fend off the Riott Squad for the most part, but now has allies to surround the ring during her title match on Sunday.

8. Absolution

The stable had their first match, but it was lackluster despite a win. They bounced back by attacking Asuka.

7. Aleister Black

Not only does he join the Fatal 4-Way Number One Contender match, but he handed Adam Cole his first clean loss.

6. Braun Strowman

His main event match was a dud, but Braun still stood tall by lying out Kane.

5. Riott Squad

Ruby Riott showed she can hang in the ring with The Queen in their match, but her stable now has to deal with the entire women's roster.

4. Rusev and English

Rusev and English have taken dominance over the tag team division with another upset win, this time over The Usos.

3. Samoa Joe

His allies were unsuccessful in taking out The Shield, but Samoa Joe was at least able to choke out Ambrose and take away some glory from the faction.

2. The Shield

Seth Rollins was able to take out Sheamus and Reigns retained in a show-stopper with Cesaro. Samoa Joe looks like the biggest threat to the trio.

1. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens put away Shinsuke Nakamura in a all-out brawl in SmackDown's main event. He gets to fight for his job with Sami Zayn by his side, but now has to watch out for McMahon and Bryan: the referees.
