WWE Title Change: AJ Styles Wins United States Championship at WWE Live Event on 7/7/2017 | Smark Out Moment
The WWE United States Championship has changed hands as AJ Styles shockingly defeated Kevin Owens to win the title at a random live event on July 7, 2017.

My immediate reaction: So....the Austin Aries released news broke earlier today out of nowhere, and then this? What the hell? I'm so confused about the decision to change the title up, since they JUST did the No. 1 contender's battle royal for a title shot at Battleground. Does this mean Owens is injured and they need to replace him at Battleground with someone else, or is there something else to this? Very curious. I'm not opposed to the title change at all, and I'm interested to see how they take the story from here.
