UFC 206 will take place on December 10, 2016 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Follow here for predictions and information on the event's card, lineup of matches and news regarding the pay-per-view. Here are my predictions for UFC 206.

predictions for UFC 206 pay-per-view Holloway vs Pettis

MAIN CARD

INTERIM FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: Max Holloway (#2) vs Anthony Pettis (#5)

I like both of these guys, but McGregor has left the Featherweight division in a mess.

PREDICTION: Max Holloway, decision.

WELTERWEIGHT: Donald Cerrone (#5) vs Matt Brown (#14)

I fully expect Cerrone to get the win here, but Matt Brown should put up a good fight.

PREDICTION: Donald Cerrone, 3rd round KO. Why not eh?

FEATHERWEIGHT: Cub Swanson (#4) vs Dooho Choi (#11)

I understand why Cub Swanson is the favourite, but a win for Choi here sends him towards a title shot.

PREDICTION: Dooho Choi, 2nd round KO.

MIDDLEWEIGHT: Tim Kennedy (#10) vs Kelvin Gastelum (#11)

This should be a great fight! I'm really not sure which way to give it, I just hope they both try to get the finish, but I expect it to go all the way to the judges.

PREDICTION: Kelvin Gastelum, decision.

WELTERWEIGHT: Jordan Mein vs Emil Meek

Meek is making his UFC debut, straight onto the main card, Mein should be a good opponent for him, but I think it might be over quick.

PREDICTION: Emil Meek, 1st round KO.

PRELIMINARY CARD

LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT: Nikita Krylov (#8) vs Misha Cirkunov (#13)

This should be a good fight to finish off the prelims, I expect it to go all the way.

PREDICTION: Nikita Krylov, decision.

LIGHTWEIGHT: Olivier Aubin-Mercier vs Drew Dober

I'm really not sure about either of these guys, this might have to be a guess. Aubin-Mercier has the better record...

PREDICTION: Olivier Aubin-Mercier, 3rd round submission.

STRAWWEIGHT: Valerie Letoureau (#9) vs Viviane Pereira

Pereira is making her UFC debut, but an 11 fight undefeated streak is impressive. Letourneau is somewhat up and down in her form, so it depends how she feels on the night.

PREDICTION: Viviane Pereira, decision.

BANTAMWEIGHT: Mitch Gagnon vs Matthew Lopez

Gagnon is a much better fighter in my opinion, no question here.

PREDICTION: Mitch Gagnon, 1st round submission.

EARLY PRELIMINARY CARD

LIGHTWEIGHT: John Makdessi vs Lando Vannata

Other people seem to be having trouble picking this one, I have to say that if Vannata gets him to the ground, it's game over.

PREDICTION: Lando Vannata, 2nd round submission.

LIGHTWEIGHT: Jason Saggo vs Rustam Khabilov

I've got a lot of respect for Khabilov, I think he could get a title shot sometime next year, Saggo is good, but not good enough.

PREDICTION: Rustam Khabilov, 2nd round submission.

FLYWEIGHT: Zach Makovsky (#7) vs Dustin Ortiz (#11)

Interesting fight to start the night with, both guys could make a move for a title fight with a few wins, not an easy one to call, but I think Makovsky should have it.

PREDICTION: Zach Makovsky, decision.

Are you excited for UFC 204, who do you think will win each bout and who will walk out UFC Middleweight Champion? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
