spoilers WWE Tuesday Night SmackDown episodes online results

Last week, SmackDown Live got some big news. GM Daniel Bryan announced that SmackDown will be receiving a new Women's Championship and Tag Team Championship belts. He took a healthy shot at Raw saying that he didn't want to create a title out of nowhere, and went on to mock their new WWE Universal Championship. I'm digging the healthy jab at the opposing brand, and as for the actual show last week, I was digging that too. Great action all around as American Alpha made their main roster debut, and AJ Styles and John Cena got their blockbuster SummerSlam rematch ready to go. The number one contender for Dean Ambrose's WWE Championship, Dolph Ziggler, got pushed to the limit as he was out to prove that everyone should believe in him. Going so far as to put up his number one contender-ship on the line against Bray Wyatt in the main event. The Showoff prevailed as he defeated The Eater of Worlds solidifying his spot in the main event of a packed SummerSlam card. The Biggest Party of the Summer isn't here yet, but we're getting close!

PROMO (Backstage): Randy Orton is stopped backstage, and he found out earlier that he will be facing Alberto Del Rio tonight. He is asked how os staying focused when he faces Brock Lensar in just two weeks. He says he isn't worried about Lesnar. Lesnar is stuff of legend, and he happens to be a Legend Killer, and Lesnar will be going to Viperville. Del Rio pops in saying Viperville is much like Disney Land. Orton offers a VIP experience, and Del Rio says he hopes he can do it with a broken arm.

PROMO (In-Ring): Bray Wyatt, flanked by his follower Erick Rowan, has made his way to the ring.  They play a video package of Wyatt and Rowen laying waste to Ziggler and Ambrose after Bray's main event loss last week. Bray starts off saying that he did not fall to Ziggler, he was a victim. A victim of Dolphs deception. Bray had to come to terms that everything was taken from him again, but no matter how hard he tries Dolph cannot kill a god. He says to ask Dean, as he and Dean have quite a history. Dolph can learn first hand how dangerous Bray is from Dean. It is Brays show now. It is Bray Wyatt against the entire world, but he is invaded by Dean Ambrose. Dean says this must truly be an era anew if Bray is a victim. But to him it sounds like Bray is nothing but a baby. Dean says this show belongs to the people and the WWE World Champion, himself. If he wants Bray off his podium, he is going to have to knock him off it. Dean doesn't fall for that. Even though he is quite tempted. But before he can act, out comes Ziggler moving quickly towards the ring. Dolph says no words as he jumps in the ring to attack The Wyatts. Dolph gets beat down quick, but is aided by Dean. Bray sets up Dean for a Sister Abigail, Dolph goes for a super kick but hits Dean instead. Bray hits a Sister Abigail on Dolph to make sure everyone knows that it is his ring.

PROMO (Backstage): Dean says he didn't need Dolphs help, and that kick was no accident. Dolph says that he shouldn'y flatter himself. He was getting revenge. Then the GM and Commissioner come in and say they need to save their energy for SummerSlam, and as for tonight they will team up to take on Bray and Rowan.

MATCH: American Alpha vs. Mikey O'Shea & Mike Vega

Before the match can start The Ascension, The Vaudevillians, and The Hype Bros come down to the ring to watch the newest main roster tag team in American Alpha.

After the match, an all out brawl between all four tag teams begins. American Alpha is the only team left standing.

RESULTS: American Alpha wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Can you say squash match? I love having all the tag teams come down and watch this match. SmackDown is soon to introduce new tag belts, and having everyone around for this match was a cool touch. Give AA the belts already.

*Commercial Break*

PROMO (Backstage): Renee tries to interview Miz and Maryse about Apollo Crews. They play a video package of Crews instead after Miz talked about his wife the whole time. After the video, Miz is asked about his match at SummerSlam between Crews. Maryse says no rookie can beat her husband and then they make out or whatever.

MATCH: Becky Lynch vs. Eva Marie

This match was supposed to happen last week, but Eva suffered an injury during her entrance. Probably to attract cheap heat.

Before the match can start Eva's top seems to come apart and she leaves the ring wrapped in a towel.

RESULTS: Due to a wardrobe malfunction there is no match.
THOUGHTS: Saw this coming. Cheap heat everywhere.

PROMO (In-Ring): Becky says she is sick of the excuses. She isn't going to go two weeks in a row without competing so she is challenging anyone.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch

The first match for Alexa Bliss! On her birthday as well.

During the match, Eva Marie comes back. Now ready to compete it seems. Using the distraction in her favor Alexa picks up her debut win.

RESULTS: Alexa Bliss wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Alexa Bliss is a future champion. But Becky's title is just going to come a little sooner. Both of these women are very good in the ring, and I expect more great stuff in the future. Alexa may be my new favorite. Behind Sasha of course. Great way for Eva to gain more heat, and let Alexa pick up a win without it being a clean loss for Becky.

PROMO (In-Ring): Eva says she is sorry for the previous malfunction, and her leg is healed from last week. She will make her debut next week.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio hits Orton a few times over with a chair. Attacking Randy's arm he promised he'd break but then gets hit with an RKO outta nowhere.

RESULTS: Randy Orton wins via DQ.
THOUGHTS: Great match. Wish it would've ended cleanly, but he attacked the arm with a chair which makes sense. Hitting the RKO with a damaged arm proves that Lesnar can try but he won't stop the RKO.

PROMO (Backstage): Heath Slater interupts Rhino while he is wokring out pre match. He tells Rhino that if he beats him tonight he gets a contract. He tells Rhino he has two kids and needs the job, and a pool to pay for. Rhino says he needs to win his election and has constituents to impress. Slater says he needs this job for his FOUR kids. Rhino calls him out saying he only had two before catching Slater in a lie. He apologizes and says he can't help him out.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Heath Slater vs. Rhino

If Heath wins, he gets a SmackDown Live contract.

RESULTS: Rhino wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Heath Slater will not be a part of SmackDown Live. Heath has been super entertaining for a long time now, so I hope this continues.

PROMO (Backstage): Rowan & Bray are backstage. Wyatt says that Erick has always been a great soldier, and tonight he asks him to give his life for this family. To prove their cause is a cause worth dying over. Do what you do best.. Destroy.

*Commercial Break*

PROMO (Backstage): Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon are talking about Heath and how he embodies the spirit of SmackDown. Then Heath comes in and says he won't be able to take care of his 7 kids now. They were prepared to offer him a contract, but he says he is too good for SmackDown Live and leaves before they could offer it to him.

MATCH: Carmella vs. Natalya

Natalya attacked Carmella from behind last week, and she tries again this week but Carmella stops her and gets her in the ring.

RESULTS: Carmella wins via submission.
THOUGHTS: I was expecting her to win her debut, but not by submission. Big win there.

*Commercial Break*

VIDEO PACKAGE: They play a video of the rivalry between John Cena and AJ Styles and they are set to meet in two weeks at SummerSlam.

PROMO (Backstage): We cut back to Baron Corbin brutalizing Kalisto for costing him a shot at the Intercontinental Championship.

MATCH: Dean Ambrose & Dolph Ziggler vs. The Wyatt Family

At the end of the match, Dean hits a Dirty Deeds on his short lived partner in return for the super kick he received earlier in the night.

RESULTS: Dean Ambrose & Dolph Ziggler win via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Wyatt continues to be the loser in the feud he isn't even a part of. But his time will come. Decent match. Loved the Dirty Deeds at the end.
