Divas Debrief: Women's Wrestling This Week for 6/13/2016

Each week, DIVAS DEBRIEF runs down the events that transpired in women's professional wrestling from the past couple of days. From the WWE Divas to the TNA Knockouts including some other companies as well, Smark Out Moment attempts to keep you up to date on all things going on with the ladies of the ring.

WWE Monday Night Raw

Charlotte Promo

Charlotte makes her way to the ring with Dana Brooke. Replays are shown of her kicking Ric Flair out of the ring two weeks ago. Dana hands Charlotte a microphone. Charlotte says every great champion knows to admit when they’re wrong. Since she’s earned the respect of the WWE Universe, she wants to apologize. For the last few weeks, she’s been watching the footage with her and her father and she’s sorry. That needed to be said. They don’t know what it’s like to be on top. She has so much pressure on her. She’s sorry she didn’t explain herself better. When she said Ric Flair was dead to her, she meant professionally. She still wants to celebrate Christmas with him, work out with him, and be his best friend. As the WWE Women’s Champion, she doesn’t want to share her spotlight. She can be champion without Ric Flair. She can’t be Daddy’s Little Girl without Daddy.

Natalya’s music hits, and she comes out to the ring with Becky Lynch. Natalya asks Becky if she’s buying any of this. Becky doesn’t. Charlotte says this has nothing to do with them. Out of all people, she expected Natalya to understand. She’s surprised the E! Network hasn’t asked Natalya for a reality show on her family since they’re a huge train wreck with her father and uncle. Natalya says her family isn’t perfect, but the way she treated her father is disgusting. Becky says Charlotte uses people and will use Dana like the rest of them. Charlotte says that would never happen. Dana is her protégé because she has a lot of wisdom to share. Natalya tells Dana to look at the track record. Charlotte is a master manipulator. Charlotte asks if they’re done. Dana looks conflicted, and Charlotte tries to get her to come around. Charlotte tries to get Dana to leave the ring with her, but Dana moves over by Natalya and Becky. Dana then attacks Natalya. Charlotte puts Natalya in a chokehold while Dana hits Becky with a Michinoku Driver. They then pose in the ring.

TNA Impact Wrestling

Madison Rayne vs. Sienna (Number 1 contenders match for the Knockouts Title)

Madison kicks Sienna in the gut. Madison goes for a Northern Lights Suplex, but Sienna counters with a clubbing blow to the back of Madison. Sienna whips Madison face first to the top turnbuckle pad. Sienna drives her shoulder repeatedly to the back of Madison. Sienna connects with the Vertical Suplex for a two count.

Madison fires up with a running clothesline. Madison drops Sienna with a flying crossbody. Madison with a Northern Lights Suplex, but struggles to get back on her feet. Sienna plants Madison with the AK-47 to pickup the victory. After the match Sienna attacks Madison. Jade storms into the ring to make the save. Jade with a running knee that sends Sienna to the outside. Both women have a stare off as Sienna and Allie heads towards the back.

Winner: Sienna

TNA Slammiversary

Gail Kim vs. Maria Kanellis

We go to the ring and out first comes Gail Kim. Maria Kanellis is out next with Allie. Fans boo as Allie calls for everyone's attention. Allie said Gail should be ashamed of herself for faking an injury. Maria is clutching the brace on her hand. Allie says Maria is the only one that deserves sympathy because her injury is real. Maria says she didn't want this, she wanted to come out and kick Gail's ass. Gail gets a "liar" chant going at Maria but she denies it. Gail tells Maria to get in the ring before she makes her. Music hits and out comes Billy Corgan with a mic. Corgan has the x-rays in hand and confirms the injury to Maria. Corgan shows us the x-rays on the big screen. Corgan says Gail will get the match as soon as Maria is cleared to wrestle. Maria says her doctor told her it will be a very long time before her hand heals and she may never wrestle again. Corgan nods in agreement. Corgan says this is Slammiversary and fans deserve something special. He puts Gail in tonight's Knockouts Title match, which starts now.

Sienna vs. Gail Kim vs. Jade (Triple Threat for the TNA Knockouts Title)

A referee runs down as Gail gets ready and out first comes Sienna. She talks with Allie on the ramp before heading to the ring with Maria and Allie right behind her. TNA Knockouts Champion Jade is out next.

They all go at it to start. Gail and Jade double team up Sienna early on. Jade with an assisted moonsault. Jade with a big boot in the corner. Gail with the running spear in the corner. Gail tried to roll Sienna up but she hold son to the ropes. Jade with a crucifix on Sienna. Gail goes after Jade now. Sienna hits a boot on Jade as she's suplexing Gail for a 2 count. Gail with kicks on Sienna now. Gail ends up upside down in the corner as Sienna keeps Jade grounded. Gail fights free and goes after Sienna but gets knocked down. Sienna takes Gail to the top but Jade hits Sienna from behind. Sienna gets Jade and Gail on her shoulders for a double Samoan Drop. Gail and Jade go to the floor as Sienna poses. She goes out and grabs Jade but Gail kicks her. Jade drops Sienna on the floor but collides with Gail and they both go down.

All three come back in the ring and trade shots. Sienna fights both off but Gail unloads on her. Sienna backdrops Gail over the top to the floor. Jade with kicks and a knee to Sienna. Jade with a big springboard DDT for a 2 count as Gail breaks it up. Jade and Gail end up on top trading shots now. Gail with a top rope hurricanrana. Sienna clotheslines Gail. Jade with a hurricanrana off the top to Sienna. Sienna blocks Jade's package piledriver. Sienna hits the AK47 on Jade but Gail hits Eat Defeat on Sienna. Allie pulls Gail off Sienna. Gail goes to the floor and drops Allie. Gail stalks Maria up the ramp and grabs her injured hand but Maria kicks her. Allie slides the title in to Sienna but Marti Belle runs in. She looks to make the save for Jade but nails her with a foreign object instead, allowing Sienna to get the pin and the title.

Winner: Sienna

Asuka vs. Nia Jax (NXT Women's Championship Match)

Asuka tries a single leg, but Jax doesn’t go down. Asuka goes behind Jax, but can’t take her down. Jax goes for an elbow, but Asuka ducks. Jax grabs Asuka by her hair and flings her clear across the ring. Jax picks Asuka up and drives her back first into the top turnbuckle. Jax face washes Asuka in the corner. Jax swings at Asuka, but Asuka grabs her arm and spins into an octopus hold. Jax fights out of it. Asuka hits the ropes, but Jax catches her and takes her over in a back breaker. Asuka kicks out at two. Jax slams Asuka on her knee and stretches her out. Asuka surprises Jax with a guillotine choke, but Jax turns it into a vertical suplex for another near fall. Asuka tries and armbar, but Jax spins out of it. Asuka transitions into a triangle choke. Jax picks up Asuka and slams her into the turnbuckle. Asuka tries a few leg kicks, but Jax shrugs the strikes off and locks in a bear hug. Asuka reverses it, but Jax grabs her by the throat.

Asuka reverses that into a knee bar. Jax gets to the ropes to break the hold. Asuka kicks Jax in the gut and hits the ropes. Jax catches Asuka and slams her to the mat. Jax misses her leg drop. Asuka hits a shining wizard for a two count. Asuka hits a dropkick off the second rope. Asuka lands a few spinning back fist. Asuka takes Jax off her feet with a running hip attack. Asuka goes for a head kick, but Jax catches her leg and powerbombs her to the mat. Jax goes for a pin, but Asuka grabs Jax’s arm and locks in an armbar. Jax rolls to her stomach, but Asuka turns it into a seated armbar. Asuka attempts to transition into the Asuka lock, but she can’t get lock her hands. Asuka lets go and kicks Jax in the head twice. Jax falls to the mat, looks at Asuka and lets out a battle cry. Asuka hits the ropes and almost decapitates Jax. It’s over! Jax is out. Asuka gets the three count.

Winner: Asuka
Match Rating: 3.25/5

WWE SmackDown

Becky Lynch vs. Dana Brooke

Dana Brooke, a.k.a. Charlotte 2.0, looked like she was going to side with Natalya and Lynch on Monday after they tried to convince Brooke to switch her allegiance away from Charlotte. The Women’s champ does have a terrible track record of betraying people, but that didn’t matter to Brooke. Lynch and Natalya are frustrated with Charlotte for months of abuse, so Lynch is looking to take out her anger on the champ’s new protege. After Charlotte tried to get involved, both Charlotte and Natalya were ejected by the referee. Fair is fair I suppose. Lynch rolls through a roll-up attempt by Brooke and locks her in the Dis-Arm-Her for the submission win.

Winner: Becky Lynch
