After what was a pretty decent show at Payback, we are set for the fallout here tonight on Monday Night Raw. Unfortunately, there was no tag team number one contender decided last night due to an awful injury to Enzo Amore after hitting the ropes wrong. He was taken out on a stretcher and to the hospital. He was diagnosed with a severe concussion, and got to go home last night! Well wishes and a speedy recovery to Enzo from everyone here at SOM! Mr. McMahon made his decision last night on which of his children would run Monday Night Raw... And he chose both of them. That's right, both Shane and Stephanie will be forced to get along and make decisions running the show. The Miz retained his Intercontinental Championship, Kalisto retained his United States Championship, and Charlotte retained her Women's Championship. The main event was a great one in Roman vs. AJ and we saw Roman walk out champ, and Shane and Stephanie both decided that AJ will get his rematch at Extreme Rules in an extreme rules match! The fallout from Payback and the build to Extreme Rules starts tonight!

PROMO: The opening promo belongs to Stephanie McMahon. Before she could welcome the fans to Monday Night Raw, she is interrupted by her fellow Raw leader and brother, Shane McMahon. Stephanie says since they are being forced to work together and run Monday Night Raw, she got him a gift as a peace offering to embrace this new work relationship. It is the picture that Vince stepped on and smashed of young Shane and father Vince. She says she knows that it hurt him when Vince smashed it, and that she is ready to hear Shane's ideas for the show tonight. As he got ready to start his ideas, he is interrupted by Kevin Owens. Kevin sarcastically remarks on how touching it is to see the siblings getting along to start the show, but Kevin thinks they should all hear his ideas. His idea is he gets a rematch for the IC Title especially after last night when he "decimated" Sami Zayn. He wants that match.. Tonight. He looks at Stephanie and says that she has sense, and she is a smart businesswoman and that she will know what the right move is. Shane will not. Then, out comes Cesaro. Cesaro talks about how he had Miz beat for the championship in the middle of the ring last night, but unfortunately Kevin and Sami got in the way of his victory with their brawl. Shane says that Cesaro will take on Kevin Owens right now to see who is the Number One Contender for the Intercontinental Championship.

MATCH: Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro

The Miz, our Intercontinental Champion, is on the commentary team.

As I figured, The Miz gets involved by attacking Cesaro from behind. It quickly turns into a four way brawl adding Sami Zayn.

RESULTS: Technically, Cesaro wins via DQ.
THOUGHTS: I had a feeling this would happen as it almost always does with a guest commentator. I figure we will have a fatal four way for the Intercontinental Title at Extreme Rules, and that'll be a fantastic match.

PROMO: Dean and Stephanie are backstage, and Dean says he doesn't buy this "new Stephanie" with the smile and fake kindness. Deep down she's still the same cold-hearted woman, she then says that he will have a new edition of the Ambrose Asylum and she will be the guest and he can ask her anything he wants.

*Commercial Break*

PROMO: Tyler Breeze and R-Truth are backstage under their new name The Gorgeous Truth, and they're interrupted by Goldust. Goldust then challenges Breeze to a match, and they're joined by Goldust partner Fandango. I really don't know what just happened...

PROMO: AJ is backstage with Gallows and Anderson, and they're talking about last nights match. They say he took Roman to the limit last night, and he did phenomenal. They bring up the extreme rules match and say that anything goes, and he  won't leave as champion. Then Roman comes in. Roman says he has a lot of respect in AJ but not Gallows and Anderson. The reason they got involved is because they believe he can beat the guy on his own. Then The Usos come in and they set up a six man tag match for later tonight.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Goldust (w Fandango) vs. Tyler Breeze (w R-Truth)

RESULT: Tyler Breeze wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: This match was just Goldust trying to impress R-Truth who was using his selfie stick.. Which was a literal tree branch. The whole thing was really entertaining to me!

*Commercial Break*

PROMO: The New Day are coming down to the ring to talk about the unfortunate end of the tag team tournament. They show the footage of Enzo getting his concussion last night, and they also show his picture of him getting cleared from the hospital last night! The show must go on, and that show has just been interrupted by The Vaudevillians. They catch some heat for saying a real man would've gotten back up from an injury unlike Enzo, and they are real men. And these real men are number one contenders to the WWE World Tag Team Championships. They're interrupted by The Dudley Boyz! The Dudleys bring up how they didn't beat anybody last night, the ref stopped the match. They say they should restart the entire tournament right now, and if anybody deserves the opportunity it is the Dudleys. Out comes Big Cass! Weird seeing him without Enzo.. Nonetheless he is a little tired of the Vaudevillians bragging about taking out Enzo, and he is going to finish the job they started last night. Then it turns into a full out brawl between New Day, Big Cass, Vaudevillians, and The Dudley Boyz!

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: The New Day & Cass vs. The Vaudevillians & The Dudley Boyz

RESULT: The New Day & Cass win via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: This was a super entertaining tag team match. Great action all around, and I'm glad Big Cass got to have his moment after that unfortunate injury last night.

MATCH: Becky Lynch vs. Emma

After a blatant thumb to the eye Emma hits a pile driver for the win.

RESULT: Emma wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Great match! I love heel Emma. I say it every time I see her, but she is a phenomenal heel. I'm surprised she got the win, but it was great nonetheless.

AMBROSE ASYLUM: Stephanie McMahon will be Dean Ambroses' guest tonight! Dean is still convinced that this is just a charade that Stephanie McMahon isn't what she seems to be. He eggs her on with a picture of Roman Reigns spearing her at WrestleMania. To which she responded very kindly. Saying she didn't belong in the ring and she was taught a valuable lesson. Dean then brings up Shane, saying he is running Raw better than The Authority ever did and the fans love him so much more than Stephanie. And she thinks its the loyalty of the fans, and then talks up the fans. He then brings up missed events of Stephanie's children, recitals, family dinners, etc. He then asks if she thinks Shane has made the same sacrifices as her, and even if he hasn't Vince still let them both run Raw instead of just her. Stephanie says that her father taught her a valuable lesson, and that's that things need to change. She then passes that lesson to Dean, saying that a change is needed in the Ambrose Asylum... And she then cancels it. Dean says he had a good run, grabs his plant, and gets ready to leave. She then introduces the returning host of the Highlight Reel.. Chris Jericho! The two faced each other at Payback where we saw Dean pick up a win, and this quickly turns into a brawl between the two. After Dean gets in a few good shots, Jericho hits a Codebreaker and then throws the Ambrose Asylum set out of the ring. Even smashing the oh so sacred plant over Deans head as he had his back turned.

UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP OVER THE TOP BATTLE ROYAL

This is featuring stars like Sheamus, Titus O'Neil, Dolph Ziggler, Apollo Crews, and Baron Corbin.

The final four comes down to Rusev, Del Rio, Sheamus, and Zack Ryder.
-Del Rio eliminates Sheamus
-Ryder eliminates Rusev
-Rusev eliminates Ryder

RESULT: Rusev is the new number one contender to the United States Championship.
THOUGHTS: Man.. I would've loved to see Corbin win that, but its a little too soon for him. Kalisto vs. Rusev could be a very interesting feud, but only time will tell.

PROMO: Charlotte comes out to address her controversial win over Natalya at Payback. She admits she was pushed to the limit, but there was no controversy and there was no conspiring between her and her father. They then bring out Charles Robinson, the referee of last nights Women's Championship match. Charles says even though she didn't tap out, she was screaming "Stop it". Charlotte makes sure that his love for Naitch' and his past with them had nothing to do with last nights match.. To which he says no. He then confirms that his decision is final, and then out comes Natty. She grabs the mic right from Charlottes hands, and says this isn't about the ref or Charlotte. It is about Ric. She says Ric paid a referee to screw her out of winning the title, and everyone knows it. Just like the Harts are better than the Flairs. Charlotte attacks but Natty makes short work of her, and then slaps Ric and puts him in the sharpshooter for a short time before Charlotte pulls him out of the ring.

*Commercial Break*

PROMO: Stephanie says stops Ric and Charlotte, and she asks if they are okay. She tells Charlotte that she needs to prove that the Figure 8 is better than the Sharpshooter and that there will be a submission match at Extreme Rules for the Women's Championship. Ric Flair will be banned from ringside.

MATCH: Roman Reigns & The Usos vs. AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

Seeing Styles, Gallows, and Anderson walk out together on WWE programming was just incredible.

After the match Anderson and Gallows throw Reigns in the ring with a steel chair. They hand AJ the chair and prep Roman for the chair. AJ looks at them and puts the chair down, but Anderson and Gallows continue the beat down. Then one of The Usos grabs a chair and hits AJ. The ring clears and Roman hits a Superman Punch on Styles. Roman clears off the announce table, and power bombs AJ through the table.

RESULTS: AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson win via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Again, seeing those three come to a WWE ring together was unbelievable. The match itself was okay, and the brawl at the end was pretty cool. I'm desperately wanting a heel turn for AJ and seeing him crack Roman with the chair would've been awesome. But all around it was a good main event.
