Monday Night Raw comes to us from North Carolina tonight as we get ready for Extreme Rules! This is the last Raw before Extreme Rules so we should see our final build ups, and see the card start to come together with any last minute matches they have planned. The fatal four way for the Intercontinental Championship, the Women's Championship, and of course the WWE World Heavyweight Championship should be the focus of the show as they are the most anticipated matches of the evening this coming Sunday. Maybe see The Usos vs. The Club added or something to do with Emma and Becky Lynch. We also cannot forget about the great feud between Jericho and Ambrose, and the odd relationship between Shane and Stephanie as the build toward Extreme Rules is in full blast!

PROMO: The first promo of the night belongs to AJ Styles. AJ says he is tired of Roman calling him a liar, and he hasn't just heard it from him. He is tired of people saying that his friendship with Gallows and Anderson is going to come into play at Extreme Rules. For those that don't know him, he has been a champion everywhere he has gone without help from anyone, and then out comes Reigns. Roman says that all of AJ's other titles mean nothing unless he wins THE championship, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Roman says that AJ is phenomenal, a phenomenal liar. And that tonight he is going to be in The Usos corner when they take on Gallows and Anderson, as will Styles be in The Clubs corner. Roman also says that Sunday he will do whatever it takes to win, but he knows that Anderson and Gallows will be out there as will The Usos and he'll prove that the bloodline is stronger than The Club. Then out come The Club and The Usos. The Club hold back Styles after he takes a nasty right hand from Roman.

MATCH: Sami Zayn vs. Cesaro

Looks like The Miz will be on commentary for this one along with Maryse, and then KO comes out and joins the commentary team as well.

During the match KO attacks Miz and tries to walk away with the Intercontinental Title, but then it spills into the ring and the match gets ended via DQ.

But here comes Shane to change that! KO with Miz vs. Cesaro with Sami.

But then out comes Stephanie. She proposes they change up teams.. Miz & Cesaro vs. Sami & KO. She says that if KO walks out on Sami then he will not be able to compete on Sunday.

RESULT: No decision??
THOUGHTS: I had a feeling this would happen when Miz and KO were on commentary. I love the teaming up Sami and KO!!

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: KO & Sami Zayn vs. The Miz (w Maryse) & Cesaro

RESULT: Sami & KO win via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Super good match, and the reactions between Sami and KO throughout the match were the best part. Good stuff.

PROMO: Renee stops Chris Jericho and asks him about how Dean Ambrose has asked to talk to him in the ring tonight and what he thinks he is going to say. He says he thinks Dean is going to apologize for tearing apart his expensive jacket, and if he doesn't he will certainly be sorry.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: The Shining Stars vs. Scott Jackson & Brian Kennedy

The Shining Stars are former WWE tag team Primo & Epico. They are taking on a local North Carolina tag team.

RESULT: The Shining Stars win via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: I couldn't have cared less about this. I didn't like them when they were Primo & Epico, and I certainly don't give a crap now unless this means Carlito is coming back. This gets a huge yawn from me.

*Commercial Break*

PROMO: Dean Ambrose comes out to talk to Chris Jericho. Dean says his stability has been in question ever since he got to WWE, and he doesn't like it. He says he has decided to  talk to Chris Jericho, and he needs to do it now. Y2J says he isn't interested in what Dean has to say. Instead, he is going to tell him what to say. That is an apology for destroying his $15,000 jacket, and an important part of his legacy and WWE history. So he wasn't  the $15,000 and an apology right now. The Lunatic Fringe quickly throws out the apology, and says he called him out here to challenge him at Extreme Rules. Y2J says he has his match at Extreme Rules, and Dean says he needs to be sure because who knows how extreme it could really get. Jericho says there is no one scarier than him. He has beaten everyone and is a 6x world champ, and there is no one better than him. He says that this Sunday he is going to show Dean what a lunatic really does.. With no remorse. This Sunday he gives Dean the gift of Jericho. Then Dean says he has a gift for him too. They will have the first ever Asylum Match. Its a steel cage, but dangling above the steel cage is an assortment of weapons like a barbwire 2x4, a potted plant, etc. And in this match there will be no escape.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Dana Brooke vs. Becky Lynch

RESULT: Dana Brooke wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Another yawn from me.

*Commercial Break*

PROMO: Stephanie and Shane are in the office and Stephanie is wondering why Shane didn't run the Asylum Match by her, but Shane says she didn't run the tag team switch up by him earlier tonight. Then The Dudley Boyz come in. They say that the WWE is all about the "New Era" but they want to remind them that the "Attitude Era" can still do it. They ask for a couple of North Carolina guys to run through. Instead, Shane says one of them will be forced to take on Big Cass in a singles match.

They play some video package of the "Golden Truth" antics over the last few months and how they came together.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: The Golden Truth vs. Breezango

R-Truth goes for a kick on Breeze, Breeze moves and Truth hits Goldust. Breeze pins Goldust for the win.

RESULTS: Breezango wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Why?

*Commercial Break*

PROMO: R-Truth & Goldust are backstage talking about their loss, and how they need to be on the same page.

PROMO: Its a New Day yes it is! They are coming out to the ring, and there is already something in the ring covered with a sheet. Its huge, and has lights on it. That's all I can tell you at this point. They take the sheet off and Xavier calls it his time machine. Its really an empty refrigerator box, but its a time machine to him! *Insert imagination SpongeBob meme* They enter the time machine, and out they come with mustaches and a black and white screen. This is the bygone era that The Vaudevillians say they're from. But before they can get much into it, they are attacked by The Vaudevillains who brutally assault them.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: The Usos (w Roman Reigns) vs. The Club (w AJ Styles)

After the match there is a brawl where AJ and Roman trade chair shots, and ends with a Styles Clash on a chair.

RESULT: The Usos win via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: No surprise here. I can't really decide if I enjoy this storyline or not, but it could certainly be worse. I'm still riding the high of seeing most of the Bullet Club in WWE.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Big Cass vs. D-Von

RESULTS: Big Cass wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Big Cass made short work of D-Von here, but I loved it. I love that WWE hasn't just thrown him to the side after Enzo's injury, but instead giving him a nice singles run is going to make Enzo's return even better.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Kalisto vs. Alberto Del Rio

During the match, Rusev attacks Sin Cara backstage and they show it on the big screen while ADR forces Kalisto to watch it as Rusev drags Sin Cara away.

Rusev brings Sin Cara ringside while beating him the whole way to the ring.

Off a distraction Del Rio gets the win.

Rusev attacks Kalisto after the match.

RESULT: Alberto Del Rio wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: It was really a good match if you could look past all the other stuff going on, but the story telling by Rusev wasn't bad either.

*Commercial Break*

They announce that Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler will have a no DQ match at Extreme Rules.

WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP CONTRACT SIGNING: The Women's Champion, Charlotte, and her challenger, Natalya, come out to sing the contract for their submission match at Extreme Rules. Shane and Stephanie join them in the ring and introduce the two women. As Stephanie is introducing his daughter, Ric Flair comes out to interrupt. He says that if you're going to introduce a flair, you do it right. He asks the crowd to stand and do it the right way as he introduces Charlotte. Then out comes Natty. Natalya asks what happened to Charlotte over time. She used to be a person of integrity, gratitude, and respect. She beat Natty for her first title in NXT all without her creepy father there, and that's the Charlotte she wishes she was facing. She then signs the contract. Charlotte says that it doesn't matter what she does because the fans will always cheer her. No matter what Charlotte does, they will always cheer, so she says. She says Natty is just another Hart that's a failure, and talking about how she is going to win on Sunday is a waste of time so she signs the contract.. But she doesn't. Ric and Charlotte see something new in the contract. A new stipulation. If Ric even walks down the ramp at Extreme Rules then Charlotte forfeits the WWE Women's Championship. If they decide not to sign this contract then she will forfeit tonight instead of Sunday. She signs the contract, and then Ric explodes on Steph. Saying he tries to like her because of who her husband is, but she is the worst business woman of all time. Shane steps in and tells him to stop, but Ric rips off his jacket and gets ready to attack Shane.  Shane says he won't do it because he has too much respect for Ric.. The Steph steps in and says "You may respect for Ric, but I don't." And slaps him. He gets carried out by security, and Natty locks in the Sharpshooter on Charlotte and she taps out.
