Ahh the famous Monday Night Raw following WrestleMania.. Some huge moments and big returns have happened on this amped up version of your usual Monday night. This edition of Raw is following a WrestleMania that had its fair share of ups and downs, but was overall satisfying. We will see the debut of the newly crowned WOMENS Champion, yes womens not divas, Charlotte! She defeated Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch in what was arguably the best match of the night. The new championship belt was unveiled on the WrestleMania preshow, and definitely has a good look. I wish I could say that this is the first Raw under the leadership of Shane McMahon, but despite his best efforts Shane was taken down by The Deadman in a phenomenal hell in a cell match. Expect Vince to have plenty to say tonight. We do, however, have two newly crowned champs. Zack Ryder brought home the Intercontinental Championship in a great ladder match, and Roman Reigns is now a three time(crazy right?) WWE World Heavyweight Champion after winning a classic WWE style main event against HHH. Also, expect a heavy dose of John Cena as he returned last night to help The Rock get rid of The Wyatt Family.

PROMO: The first promo of the night belongs to.. Vincent Kennedy McMahon! He starts off bringing up his son-in-law dropping the title last night, and then quickly brings up Shane. He says that seeing his grandkids come out with Shane it got him a little bit, but for the most part he enjoyed the beating his son took. He then brings up the INCREDIBLE spot Shane did from the top of the cell. He didn't understand that Shane would risk his life for that win, and as he gets ready to leave out comes Shane! Vince is a little shocked, understandably, to see Shane. The crowd quickly jumps to a "Thank you, Shane!" chant. He has huge bruises on his face, he thanks the crowd, and then shakes his fathers hand saying "you won". He then again, thanks the crowd. A little choked up this time around. Pausing with tears during the "You still got it!" chants. Vince tells the crowd to stop encouraging him, and its their fault he got the hell beat out of him. Shane then tries to say goodbye, but Vince stops him. He says he thought about how crazy it would be if he ran Raw.. He then says "Alright, lets see what the hell you got!" So Shane is in control for at least tonight!

WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: The New Day(c) vs. League of Nations

This is a rematch from last night as LON picked up the win, but this time its for the belts!

New Day is represented by Kofi and Big E. LON is represented by King Barrett and Sheamus.

The New Day retain using their combo of The Big Ending and Kofi coming off the top rope!

After the match Sheamus grabs a mic saying there is something wrong with the team, because they should be destroying everyone. He then says you are only as strong as your weakest link. Then Rusev and Alberto Del Rio grab Barrett and start mauling him and kick him out of the ring.

The Wyatts then appear out of nowhere and start attacking League of Nations! Statement made.

RESULTS: The New Day retain via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: The New Day could stay tag champions forever and I'd be a happy man.

PROMO: Renee stops Vince as he is leaving and asks if that's because he trusts Shane to run the show. He says no, he is merely leaving because it is going to be a disaster.

PROMO: Summer Rae is in the ring. She says that her team would've won if she was in charge, and at least she didn't end up like Sasha flat on her back. Then Sasha comes out for the match.

MATCH: Sasha Banks vs. Summer Rae

Summer uses a distraction to get the upper hand to star the match. She then hits a big spinning heel kick and then slaps Sasha across the face. Bad move. Sasha loses her mind and takes it to Summer with a double knee stomp for two-count. Summer goes for another spin kick, but Sasha turns it into a Bank Statement for the submission win.

RESULT: Sasha Banks wins via submission.
THOUGHTS: That match was as good as it was going to be. Nothing special but the crowd, and myself, was loving Sasha.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Apollo Crews vs. Tyler Breeze

NXT's Apollo Crews makes his Raw debut! Thanks to Shane McMahon I would assume as they showed the two shaking hands backstage.

Starts off with Crews using his crazy athletic ability to get the upper hand. Crews quickly catches a super kick from Breeze, and Tyler takes over. After a little showboating, Breeze takes a kick to the back of the head and then Apollo's standing moonsault! Crews then hits his spinning power bomb for the win!

RESULT: Apollo Crews wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Awesome! I love Crews! Athletic ability unlike anyone else in this business. This dude has everything and then some to be the man here.

*Commercial Break*

PROMO: The new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns, is coming out to address the crowd. He gets literally boo'd out of the building here. He says "I'm not a bad guy. I'm not a good guy. I'm THE guy." He then says if anyone wants a fight, he's waiting. Out comes Y2J! Not in wrestling gear however. Y2J starts off by dissing the crowd, and says Roman isn't the guy he is just a guy. Jericho says that no one can compare to him. Not Reigns and not Styles who he beat last night. Y2J says he wants that belt, and demands that he is put at the head of the line for a title shot. But out comes AJ Styles! Then out comes KO! All these men staring directly at the title. Oh my gosh. Sami Zayn is next! Elimination chamber maybe? Then the brawl begins! Everyone is fighting everyone and it ends with Reigns spearing Y2J. I like where this is going.

*Commercial Break*

PROMO: Reigns and Shane are backstage. Shane congratulates him on the big win, and then tells him tonights main event is a fatal four way number one contenders match between Jericho, Styles, Owens, and Zayn!

MATCH: Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler

Corbin was the surprise winner of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal last night.

Ziggler uses his speed to gain an advantage, but it doesn't last long as Corbin uses his size and strength to take over.

*Commercial Break*

We come back with them pretty evened out. But then Corbin goes for a shoulder tackle in the corner, but Dolph moves and hits the post. Ziggler then gets his second wind and hits his huge DDT for a two-count. Dolph goes for the Famouser, but Corbin reverses it into a spinning power slam for a two-count. The fight then spills out into the crowd. He sends Ziggler into some trash cans as the match ends in a count out. Corbin then yells "This is on you!" to the official and continues his attack. Dolph starts fighting back, but Corbin hits his "End Of Days" on Ziggler on the outside.

RESULT: The match ends in a double count out.
THOUGHTS: I really hope this is something we get to see at Payback this year. Corbin and Crews both making waves on Raw!

*Commercial Break*

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Zack Ryder(c) vs. The Miz

Zack Ryder is standing on Monday Night Raw as an Intercontinental Champion.. Never thought I'd say that.

The Miz starts off on top in this one, but Ryder quickly comes back with a big move off the top rope.

*Commercial Break*

We come back with The Miz on top, but he telegraphs a back body drop and Ryder takes advantage. Miz then comes out of nowhere with a DDT, but only gets a two-count. Both men go for their finishers but they both miss. Then Ryder hits a big neckbreaker for a two-count. Ryder goes to the top rope, he hits the Elbro Drop but only gets a two-count. Ryder then hits a move in the corner and goes for the Broski Boot, but Miz gets out of the way. He chases Miz to the outside which proves costly as Miz takes advantage and throws him into the barricade infront of Ryders father. Ryders father then gets involved by pushing Miz down, and Ryder takes advantage. Mizs' wife then slaps Ryders father and distracts Zack in the ring, and Miz hits The Skull Crushing Finale for the win..

RESULT: The Miz wins the Intercontinental Championship via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Ryders title run was short lived, but The Miz is a great heel. Hopefully Ryder can get it back!

PROMO: KO and Renee are backstage. She brings up his WrestleMania loss, and then brings up Sami Zayn. KO says that he isn't fazed because he is going on to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

*Commercial Break*

PROMO: The formal introduction of the new WWE Womens Championship to the rightful owner, Charlotte. All the WWE Divas are in the ring along side Hall of Famer Lita! Lita talks about how she didn't have many women to look up to in the business, but this is a new era of womens wrestling with great superstars. She then introduces Charlotte. The crowd is chanting for Bayley as Charlotte grabs a mic. Charlotte then says that this title wouldn't be what it is without the women standing in the ring, and the crowd. They have changed womens wrestling forever. This even gets a " Womens wrestling!" chant going throughout the ring. Then Charlotte thanks her dad for helping her win the last night and helping her become immortalized. Charlotte then starts in on Becky and Sasha and says she is better than everyone, and then every superstar in the ring leaves. Natty grabs a mic next, she says Charlotte needs to learn a little about humility. Natty then says she would love a match, but Charlotte declines. Saying "This belt on my shoulder says my family will always be better than your family." and Natty attacks. Charlotte escapes to fight another day!
PROMO: Renee and AJ Styles are backstage. She asks about the fatal four way tonight. He said he came here to be WWE Champ, and that starts tonight.

*Commercial Break*

TABLES MATCH: The Usos vs. The Dudley Boyz

I'll cover this like I cover all tag matches. I'll let you know who wins and how.

Side note, the crowd started a sweet "Nakamura" chant.

The bell rings prematurely as The Usos put themselves through a table, then get put through one. Nonetheless, Dudleys win.

RESULT: The Dudleys win.
THOUGHTS: I really had a hard time caring during that at all.

PROMO: Renee and Sami are backstage. She asks about the match tonight, but then KO attacks and puts Sami through a table via a power bomb.

*Commercial Break*

PROMO: Enzo and Cass stop by to cut a hellacious promo on The Dudleys! It was basically a giant roast fest, and it was beautiful. Afterwards The Dudleys head to the ring and act like they'll fight, but they turn around. SAWFT!

*Commercial Break*

Sami Zayn has been removed from the fatal four way number one contender match following the attack from KO. Who will replace him?

NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS MATCH: AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho vs. Cesaro

Cesaro! Cesaro returns to take Sami's spot! I love it!

As the match title says, this will determine who is next in line for a shot at Roman Reigns' WWE World Heavyweight Championship. I'll let you know who wins and how, and I'll highlight any high spots as well. Too much going on for me to cover it super in depth!

After a Styles Clash on Y2J... AJ Styles picks up the win and will challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship!

RESULTS: AJ Styles wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: AMAZING match! AMAZING outcome! AMAZING show!
