What's been going on this week in the world of professional wrestling? It's time to break it down in the latest edition of SMACK TALK, my wrestling podcast and the quick notes below. Make sure to subscribe, comment on the videos and this post, and let us know your thoughts.
Watch each part below:
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
- Don't forget to vote on the latest group of matches for the hottest divas & knockouts tournament!
- Randy Orton has been suspended for 60 days because this is his SECOND Wellness Policy failure. This means he not only misses No Way Out but also Money in the Bank. There goes the Jericho/Orton match as well as the Miz/Orton match that all seemed likely. It also means a spot opens up for Money in the Bank, meaning someone might get a chance to shine that wouldn't have (hopefully, instead of them just putting Khali in there). I wouldn't be surprised at all if Jericho faced Orton at SummerSlam either because of this.
- Jillian Hall was arrested for charges of domestic violence and claims that she's splitting from her husband.
- Lord Tensai is officially deemed a flop that they're trying to salvage. Apparently, Big Show's spot right now was supposed to be Tensai's. Thankfully they realized that he wasn't working out as well as they had hoped and instead of forcing it down our throats, they decided to try to fix things. Kudos, WWE. I give you a lot of credit for not being stubborn about this one.
