The third episode of Tough Enough passes by us and this time, there are TWO eliminations. Say goodbye to Michelle Deighton and Mickael Zaki.
To recap the highlights of tonight's episode, Michelle continued to perform at the same level as previously shown and eventually, it dawned upon her that she's just not going to make it, especially when she factors in the time she'd be spending away from her daughter, so she decided to quit. Luke once again performed above all the rest, save for a technique challenge where it seemed like they wanted to make an example out of him by giving the spotlight to Martin instead. Many others didn't do anything noteworthy. Eric struggled as always but somewhat stepped up his game in the technique challenge, which helped him avoid elimination. Rima positioned herself in the bottom three once more, alongside the returning Ryan (Skidmark). This time, though, they were joined by Mickael, who was put in the danger zone for not showcasing himself. Rima was saved almost entirely by the fact that she had taken Bill DeMott aside earlier on in the week and asked for extra one-on-one training (and no, we don't mean THAT). Mickael and Ryan were told to duke it out promo-style and Ryan blew Mickael out of the water. Thus, Mickael was eliminated, even though I'm sure we'll see him in FCW anyway.
My thoughts? Michelle was an elimination just ticking away and it was only a matter of when she'd be tossed out, so at least she gets to save face by pulling the mom card. A mother's job should always be their children first and foremost, so I'm glad that she recognized that on her own and chose that route instead of dawdling. Mickael I figured would last a little longer, especially when Ryan, Eric, and Rima have been consistently getting chewed out, but Ryan CLEARLY won that mic-off between the two.
Next week, my guess is the bottom three will be Eric, Rima, and Andrew. Random guess for Andrew.
